1. Who we are

This website is operated by MICRO SUPPORT SOLUTIONS LTD ("Micro Support Solutions", "we", "us"), registered office: 128 City Road, London, Greater London, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: contact@microsupportsolutions.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

  • Details you submit in our quote and contact forms: name, business name, email, phone number, the services you're interested in (for example website development, cloud hosting, security or AI), website requirements, budget range and your message.
  • Technical data needed to run the website securely, such as IP address (used briefly to prevent spam and abuse) and server logs.
  • Cookie preferences (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we use it (lawful basis)

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse – our legitimate interests.
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes if you become a customer – legal obligation.
  • We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to or given your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use service providers to run the website and email, for example our website hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon) and our email provider. They process data only on our instructions.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months unless you become a customer, in which case records are kept as required for contractual and legal purposes.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise them, contact contact@microsupportsolutions.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. Contact us if you would like more detail.
