Website Development Terms
Last updated: 7 October 2026
1. Quotes and scope
Each project starts with a written quote describing what is included. Work outside that scope will be quoted separately before it begins.
2. Payment
Payment terms (any deposit, stage payments, the due date for the balance and accepted payment methods) are set out in your written quote. Invoices are payable by the date shown on them. We may pause work on overdue invoices.
3. Your content
You are responsible for providing text, images and logos, and for having the right to use them. If content or feedback is delayed, the timescale moves back accordingly and we may re-schedule your project.
4. Timescales
We aim to work quickly and efficiently. Any target timescale will be agreed in writing in your quote and depends on receiving content and feedback on time.
5. Revisions
Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated in your quote. Further changes, or changes outside the agreed scope, are quoted separately before we start.
6. Domains, hosting and third-party services
Domain names are registered in your name wherever possible. Hosting and cloud arrangements, and any third-party costs (domains, licences, hosting, email or paid tools), are listed in your quote and are payable by you unless stated otherwise.
7. Ownership
Ownership of the finished website passes to you once all sums due have been paid in full. Third-party components, fonts, stock images and software remain subject to their own licences. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
8. Maintenance and support
Any post-launch support included is stated in your quote. Ongoing support, monitoring, hosting management and further development are available under our support plans or quoted separately.
